Restaurant Manger
We were on the Century in August. In speaking the Jorge Simoes the Restaurant Manger, he was going on vacation, but would be coming back to the Century.

Hi,
He told us the same thing during our B2B June/July.
He's quite an engaging and visible chap; energetic as well.
Cheers

We were on a Baltic cruise this summer on the Constellation and will be sailing on the Solstice in March. We discovered a number of our favorite staffers from Constellation were being transferred to the Solstice. We're looking forward to a reunion with them when we sail. They include the bar manager, a delightful young man whose name I don't remember. Also Bernard, a waiter in the main dining room on deck 5 who regularly sings opera arias, and a number of delightful crew from the Martini Bar, Togi the bartender, waitress Eleanor and our dining room sommelier, Randy. All of these mentioned are outstanding staff which leads me to believe that they are choosing the "best" from each of their ships to staff the Solstice.

They are picking some of the best of the fleet along with a lot of newbies. I will keep these people in mind as they are likely getting off the Connie when we hit FLL and catching a quick ride around the block to the Solstice

We've had Stewart onboard twice
Our first cruise with Celebrity was on the Mercury with David Cole as the CD and Stewart as the Assitant CD. Three years later we took the Mercury again with Stewart as the CD. My kids still say he is their favorite CD. I thought he was very friendly, funny and personable.

Here is a picture from Solstice showing some familiar faces from Connie: Zeljko (Michael's Club on Connie), Liz and Tolgashan in their new bar uniforms.

Hi Arno !
Thanks for the photo. I'm surprised to see that Zeljko is no longer working with Perry Grant. I thought they worked very well together. On the bright side, I look forward to seeing him on Solstice.

Perry was very upset when he was transferred. Chris has also been moved from Michael's on Connie to Solstice.

I am looking forward to sitting across the bar from Tolgashan... great bartender. He told us his name was something like, Togi. Can you help me out with this?

Togi
Togi is fantastic. We had him on the Millie and he quickly became one of our favorite bartenders. He is always smiling and so very pleasant. Obviously, he enjoys what he does--at it shows!

Hi C2C,
Just got off the Constellation on Oct. 30th. There was a change in hotel director. Rafael went on vacation and Nina took over. Also the Chief housekeeper is a very pleasant and friendly lady by the name of Katrazyna. Both ladies were eXceptional and it's nice to see women in these roles. We truly enjoyed their company. Thought I would share this info. so you can keep your chart up to date.

Arno---where is Captain Pagonis? Also, do you know where Captain Mavrogiannis is? Last question---You have Livanios listed as an "alternate Captain". What does that mean? Thanks, Patty

Hi Patty:
Captain Pagonis is home on holidays. He will be heading for Constellation at the end of November.
The Alternate Master is the captain that will replace the present Master when it is vacation time (3 months off and on) sometimes to a different ship.
I have never sailed with Captain Mavrogiannis. On what ship was he master?
Arno

Arno -- Looking forward to meeting you on the 11/30 Solstice sailing. Do you think that Captain Pagonis will still be on the Constellation for the 2/28/09 sailing? We've cruised with him twice and would love to sail with him again. Thinking of booking the 2/28 cruise.
Thanks.
