Any chance you can decode the information? What indicates a tender?

I am guessing a bit here... But if your ship is on the list, then you will be docked.

AS = Alaska Steam Ship Dock
FKL = South Franklin Street Dock
CT = Cruise Ship Terminal
AJD = A. J. Dock

Here is a nice link to a Juneau map. Be sure to click on the map as it will zoom in and be able to move around.

For those that have to tender, I think would perfer to tender than being stuck out on AJ Dock. At least on the tender you get a nice boat ride and you are dropped off right near the Tram and some shopping.

Anthk333 - So how do you translate AMP to tender? I belive you, but I just can't make the connection.

A de-coder would definitely be helpful. We're FKL, whatever that means, lol!

A few years ago we were on the Ryndam and were scheduled to dock within walking distance of the Red Dog Saloon.

When we arrived -- we tendered.

So mine says CT. Where is that mean our ship is at? Where in the line of ships will it be?

I believe this would be Cruise Terminal right near the tram.

Thanks for the schedule. Is Juneau the only port where tendering is an option. Or, is there a list like this for other ports?

Is there a shuttle from AJ Dock to the tram area?
