A long way to go but a few warm days and we will be thinking about getting outside and cleaning up.

My brother and SIL are in Dallas right now and it was the same temp there last night as here and I would think my sister is getting the same as you are Pat.

Cooking day here for me, try and get some meals done and the freezer restocked for those weeknights we don't want to cook.
Maria is one day away from getting a first hand account of how the weather is up north!!! Packing is done and tomorrow I officially become a "bachelor" for a month!! The new grandchild is getting closer every day and Grandma and daughter are both getting antsy All I got was a nice list of "things to get done" while the boss is away... I especially like item number 4---"see about repainting the grout" Since 3/4 of our house is tile - this could be a long and hard on the knees job They are still recovering from the tile job on the lanai!!!!

LOL, retirement suddenly doesn't sound so fun

Snow is melting at a good pace up here, can see grass and my deck for the first time in months Just in time for the 6 - 10" of fresh snow they are calling for tomorrow

Hopefully this front moves through before Maria gets up here. Bet she is bouncing off the walls waiting for grandbaby number 2 to arrive, tell her to have a safe trip.

Do you have all the take out restaurants on speed dial yet??

I could see deck and driveway and grass yesterday too.....right up till noon today when the skies opened up once more. oh, and it's supposed to be in the low 70's by Sunday!

The new recipe DiJorno pizzas are pretty good Pat ( compared to the previous one), and I highly recommend Stouffers Mac and cheese!

Glad Maria made it safely. With the sounds of that forecast you should take the day off Pat and plan your month.

Lisa, I wish we were going back up to the 70's, this snow may actually hang around for a couple more weeks

It was late arriving but has started now, should make for an interesting day.

First rain storm came thru this morning-- as I was taking my 3 mile hike
Rain stopped-- sun came out-- ran to the store to get my "lawn feeding" supplies-- raining again-- winds are supposed to pick up this afternoon and than the temps are gonna drop On the bright side-- a rather large turkey vulture "violated" my car when I stopped at a rest area to make a phone call after dropping Maria off at the airport-- the rain this morning took it right off!!! I think I gained about 6 MPG!!!

You must get some serious road kill down there for them to do that to your car lol.

We got about 9" of fresh white stuff yesterday and now temps have dropped to a balmy minus 34 this morning. Spring has been officially postponed until July here I think.

Lisa - whatcha think of the new Bronco defensive signings

Somewhere about the 3rd quarter of his first game with the Jets he will be thinking "what have I done". It should be about that point he realizes that catching passes from either Sanchez or Smith is far less fun than from Manning. Hopefully Welker stays healthy and catches more balls.

Sadly-- what they can accomplish-- is not what motivates many pros these days-- it's often times-- "show me da money"!!!!

Have they considered Steve as a name if it is a boy

Hope it comes soon, mom must be pretty uncomfortable and Maria must be pacing the floors.

Heck-- they haven't even considered Pat!!!! At least mine could go either way

Heavy rains here all day yesterday-- figured since I worked(!!) form noon to 4... I was just a little damp by the time I got home!!!!

That is 2 votes - little Stevie Falco. That doesn't sound like a trouble maker at all

Rain Rain Rain all day today. Goodbye to the snow pack on my deck, may actually clean things up today if the forecast is correct

Aways to go to get to livable temps but at least no new snow right now.

If the baby turns out to be a girl, easy fix - Stephanie

Leafs are not picking a good time to go into a funk, lost another one last night. 3 in a row all to teams in the East

Heard Kane got hurt too last night, hopefully nothing serious.
